PREPARATION
How to prepare for your tests
General rules for most tests. Specific requirements are listed on each test’s card, and staff will remind you when confirming your booking.
Blood tests
- Most tests are taken in the morning on an empty stomach: 8–12 hours without food. Plain still water is fine.
- The day before, avoid fatty food, alcohol and intense exercise; don’t smoke for an hour before the test.
- Tell us about any medication you take. Don’t stop it without asking your doctor.
Urine tests
- Usually the first morning sample is collected after washing.
- Use a sterile container — they are sold at pharmacies.
- Bring the sample to the laboratory within 1–2 hours.
Hormones and specialised tests
- Some hormones are tested on specific days of the cycle or at a set time of day — ask your doctor.
- Genetic, oncology and pathology tests have individual requirements agreed in advance.
What to bring
- An identity document.
- Your doctor’s referral, if you have one.
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

How will I receive my results?
On paper at the laboratory or electronically.
How can I pay?
By bank card or transfer (Idram, Telcell, bank transfer).
Can I have tests taken at home?
Yes. A nurse visits addresses in Yerevan; the visit costs 5,000 ֏. Outside Yerevan, the fee and time are agreed separately. Choose a home visit in the request form.
Are you open at weekends?
On Saturday from 09:00 to 15:00. The laboratory is closed on Sunday.
Can I book for today?
Yes, if there is a free slot: the request form shows available hours, including today. For an urgent visit, it is best to call +374 44 20 88 88.
Do you test children?
Yes, we accept children of any age. A child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Do I need to fast before a test?
Most blood tests are taken in the morning on an empty stomach (8–12 hours without food), but there are exceptions. See “Preparation” and the test’s card.
Where can I see prices?
Prices are listed in the catalog and on each test’s card. The basket shows the total including a home visit; staff will confirm it when you book.
